Thought I've made a bit too much fan art lately so it was time for an original character.

I made this mostly to practice a cuple of things, like drawing faces, texturing and drawing the abdominal area wich is very tricky to get right. I had a lot of fun with this one and learnd lots of new stuff.

Hope you like it. ^^

nice tummy....I see a lot of people who overdo it, or just plop a belly button in there and call it done.

Exacly, I prefer to see some features, also more fun to draw. Glad you liked it. :)

Thank you!

We all have to start somewhere. The most important thing for me is just to have fun with every new drawing. :)

What's the point of wearing armor at all if she leaves a large section of her body uncovered?

My goal was never to create a practical armor, but to practice things I wanted to get better at. If I were to design a practical armor there wouldnt be any skin showing at all, but then it is hard to practice drawing it. :)

She must have been surprised while putting her armor on, before the abdomen plate was in its place, hardly having time to reach for her sword

Or it got damaged? :) Logic is not always the goal when drawing. ^^

Coloring - awesome.
Face could be improved. Make chin bigger, mouth not so wide and nose a bit smaller.
Actually left arm could be moved closer to body and right hand looks kinda small.

Is there any specific reasoning behind what you said about the face and arm position other than personal preference?
Thanks for commenting.

The armor is well drawn. Cool OC, nice to take breaks from fan art once in a while ;)
I agree, abdominal area is a bit difficult, but you've done a good job.

I like it, the shoulder guards are a bit tall, but over all a very good job.
